Tenents of Faith
The Triune Nature of God i.e God exists eternally in three persons – Father, Son – Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit.
The Scripture is the infallible and authoritative Word of God with no error. Given for the purpose of leading man to salvation and restoration to Lost fellowship with God. We believe in truthfulness, integrity, inspiration and the authority of God
God the Father is the Creator of heaven and earth and he sustains all things with his power. One God, limitless, everlasting and perfect in holiness, truth and love.
God the Son, Jesus Christ was supernaturally conceived, born of a Virgin and was without sin. He was the sacrifice offered for the sin of humanity through His death on the cross. He rose again from the dead in His own glorious body, appeared to many, ascended into Heaven and will return to earth in power and glory. He is the Head of the Church.
God the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. Unites man to his savior Jesus Christ in faith. He establish New Birth and dwells within the believer thereby enabling him to live holy in the fear of God. He’s the gift of God to the Church.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is accessible to all who believe in Jesus Christ and surrender totally and completely to the perfect will of God.
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1Cor 12) are for the body of Christ (the Church) through the Holy Spirit and not by learning or human efforts.
The Fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22,23) are the character of God and must be evident in the life of every Christian as perquisite for the manifestation of the seven spirits of God (Isaiah 11:1,2, Rev. 1:4; 4:5; 5:6). Character is the bedrock of the anointing.
Man was created in the image and likeness of God. The sin of Adam and Eve sent mankind out of God’s original plan hence the need for restoration to God’s original plan and nature because man is incapable of returning to God in himself and is lost without hope but redeemed in Christ.
Salvation is the gift of God by grace and faith in Christ Jesus. No other Name by which men may be saved except the name of Jesus Christ. Giving up the lifestyle of sin, repent from wicked ways, trust in Christ and His vicarious death, man is born again by the Holy Spirit.
The Church is the visible body of Christ in the world. In obedience of faith, we gather to hear the word, receive the sacraments and live as disciples, whose task is to take the gospel to all men in all nations thereby making disciples of them.
The Consummation of all things including the visible personal return of Jesus, the return of the dead and the translation of those alive in Christ into the presence of God (2Thess 5), the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the Millennial Reign of Christ and the final judgment.
